Clients who try to go direct usually come back, because managing a Chinese factory across time zones and language barriers is a full-time job. We would rather earn your business every order than lock you in by hiding information.

We charge a service fee — a fixed percentage agreed in writing before we start work. That is our only income from your order.

You verify there is no markup by paying the factory yourself. We introduce you to the supplier on WeChat, you see the quote in their own words, and the money moves from your account to theirs. We never sit in the middle of the payment.

A trading company buys from the factory and resells to you at their own price. You never learn the factory’s real cost, and their profit grows when your price goes up. Your interests are opposed.

A sourcing agent works for you. We are paid the same percentage whether the unit price is $2.10 or $1.80 — so we have every reason to push it down. Many businesses that call themselves “sourcing agents” are actually trading companies. The test is simple: ask for the factory’s name and business licence. If they refuse, you know what they are.

This is why we inspect before the goods leave the factory, not after they land in your warehouse. Our inspector checks against the signed-off sample and your written specification, and calls you live from the floor so you can see the actual cartons.

If there is a mismatch, the goods do not ship. We negotiate rework, replacement or partial refund with the factory while the leverage is still on your side — the supplier has not been paid the balance yet.

We prep to Amazon’s specification, not the factory’s guess at it: FNSKU labelling, poly-bagging with suffocation warnings, carton labelling, weight and dimension limits, and bundle assembly.

We also ship direct to Amazon fulfilment centres and handle the customs entry, so you are not paying a third party to receive, re-label and forward your inventory. For sellers, that usually removes one full handling step and several days of lead time.

There is no hard floor, but be realistic: below roughly $2,000 in order value, our fee starts to be a large share of your spend and you may be better off buying on Alibaba directly with Trade Assurance.

That said, we have taken on small first orders from buyers who later scaled into containers. If you are testing a product properly, tell us the budget and we will say honestly whether we can add enough value to be worth it.

Alibaba is for bulk and wholesale — real MOQs, negotiable unit prices, customisation, and Trade Assurance protection. Use it when you are buying inventory.

AliExpress is retail-priced and built for small quantities and dropshipping. Fine for testing a product with a handful of units; expensive and slow as a supply chain.

Neither platform verifies whether a listing belongs to a factory or a trading company. That verification is the part we do.

Yes. We work from sketches, reference samples or a specification document, then match you with factories that already produce something structurally similar — which is far cheaper than building from zero.

Expect tooling or mould costs for custom parts, and a longer timeline than off-the-shelf sourcing. We tell you both numbers before you commit, including whether the volume justifies the tooling spend.

You do — duty is levied by your own country’s customs, based on the HS code and declared value. We handle the export side: commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and any product-specific documents.

We also arrange freight and can work with your customs broker at destination. Get the HS code right early: a wrong classification is one of the most common and most expensive mistakes new importers make.
