Thinking About Sourcing

From the communication with my clients, I realize that the best sourcing agent that clients really want to work with is who can provide a total transparent process which gives a possibility that client is able to know who the supplier is and what price agent gets from factory. After long-time thinking, I decide to build something that’s different from current existing trading companies and sourcing agents. 

 

In order to be transparent, I put up a suggestion to my teammates that once product is sourced and we must set up a WeChat group or maybe other chatting platform group to introduce clients and suppliers together. At the same time, our teammates would handle the communication on behalf of clients to discuss all the product’ s details.  Also, payment is required to be made to supplier directly and we don’t take client’s payment. I think this business model would attract more clients in future.

As a sourcing agent, I never worry giving out supplier’s info to client, because when client decides to use us, they already know our value to their business that they do need a guy in China to help them communicate with supplier, carry out inspection, arrange shipment and solve any potential issues.
